About this quiz
Forty-five people, in order of first taking office. Grover Cleveland and Donald Trump each served two non-consecutive terms and appear once. A surname shared by two presidents fills the earlier one first, so type Quincy Adams, FDR, LBJ or W Bush to skip ahead.
Matching happens on every keystroke, so there is nothing to press. Each answer also takes its common alternates. Give up at any time and the ones you missed appear in outline. Your best score is kept in this browser only.
Nothing you type is sent anywhere. The only thing this page records is that the quiz finished, and the score.
